The giveaway is solely intended to encourage voluntary community engagement within the MARIAnated Grassroot Movement. It is not payment for a vote, a promise of political support or an inducement to influence any electoral decision.
Eligibility, entry dates, prize allocation and the winner-selection method must be stated in the official giveaway announcement before entries open.
Giveaway Terms and Conditions
These terms are designed to keep the community giveaway transparent, voluntary and separate from voting decisions. The official giveaway announcement forms part of these terms.
- Organiser: The promotion is organised by the MARIAnated Grassroot Movement. It is not organised by Facebook or Meta.
- Purpose: The promotion is solely for voluntary community engagement. It must not be interpreted or used as payment, a reward for voting, a promise to vote, or an inducement to procure the election of any person.
- Free participation: No purchase, donation, fee, voter card, political membership, pledge of support or voting commitment is required.
- Eligibility: Participants must satisfy the age, residency and other eligibility requirements stated in the official giveaway announcement. Staff, selection administrators and their immediate households may be excluded to protect fairness.
- Entry period and method: Opening and closing dates, the valid entry channel and all required entry information will be published in the official giveaway announcement before entries open. Entries outside that period or channel will not qualify.
- Social sharing: Posting on a personal timeline, sharing this page, tagging the campaign, tagging friends or using a support photo is optional and will not increase or reduce a participant's chance of winning.
- Prize pool: The advertised total prize pool is ₦1,000,000. The number of winners, individual prize values and delivery method will be stated before the promotion opens. No participant is guaranteed a prize.
- Winner selection: Winners will be chosen using the transparent method and timeline published in the official announcement. Eligibility may be verified before a prize is issued. A redraw may be conducted if a selected entrant is ineligible or does not respond within the published period.
- Privacy: Photos created on this page remain on the user's device and are not uploaded by the photo creator. Any information separately submitted for the giveaway must be used only for administering the promotion and handled in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection law.
- Fair conduct: Fraud, impersonation, automated entries, multiple identities, harassment or misleading claims may result in disqualification.
- Facebook notice: This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta. By entering, participants release Facebook and Meta from claims arising from the administration of the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
- Applicable law: The promotion is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The organiser may amend, suspend or cancel it where necessary for legal compliance, fairness, security or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
